Anxiety
The mind that won't sit down. Worry that runs ahead of the day and doesn't come back.
Avori is the clinic where our therapists see people face to face. Get in touch, and we'll find you the right person and a first hour. Then you come in, and the room is yours.
50 min
one to one
Most people arrive with a feeling rather than a diagnosis. These are the things our therapists work with most; if yours isn't here, it still belongs in the room.
The mind that won't sit down. Worry that runs ahead of the day and doesn't come back.
The colour draining out of things, and the effort of pretending it hasn't.
Something that happened, still happening in the body long after it should have ended.
The patterns you keep finding yourself in, with partners, parents, or friends.
Running on empty and calling it normal. The tiredness sleep doesn't fix.
Someone or something gone, and a life that has to keep going anyway.
The voice that's harder on you than you'd ever be on anyone else.
Nights that won't settle, and days paid for with them.
Therapy happens in a room, and the room matters. Ours are kept simple: two chairs, good light, a door that closes, and nothing on the walls that asks anything of you.
You'll see the same therapist in the same room each time. Fifty minutes, uninterrupted, and what's said there stays there.
Get in touch with the clinic. Tell us as much or as little as you like; a first name and a number to reach you is enough.
Someone on our team will call you back, ask what has brought you here, and suggest a therapist and a first hour that suit you.
Arrive a few minutes early, give your name at the desk, and sit. Your therapist will come and find you.
The first session is for meeting each other. You can say as little or as much as you want. Deciding whether to continue comes afterwards, and it's yours to make.
Yes. What you tell your therapist stays between you, within the limits the law sets for every licensed clinician: if there is a serious risk to your safety or someone else's, they are required to act.
A licensed therapist, chosen for you from what you tell us when you get in touch. If it turns out not to fit, say so and we'll suggest someone else.
That's a normal way to arrive. Your therapist will ask, and you can answer as much or as little as you want. Silence is allowed.
Most people come weekly to begin with. You and your therapist will decide what makes sense, and it can change.
Yes. The same therapists also see people over video through TherapyGo. Same people, same hour, from wherever you are.
